Sandy York sings as Lady Jeffery Amherst (wife of the famous general), who is pathologically terrified of Native Americans, imagining herself attacked, "ravaged," and slaughtered. This appears early in Act I of Savage, a musical telling of the story of Jeffery Amherst and his smallpox blankets.
